The Forum - Driven by Necessity - An Introduction

I feel like from birth I had as much knowledge as I have now. To realise how much time has gone by and how much should have changed when it hasn't, is really doing my head in. In my early days, invention and novelty were rife. Nowadays, it seems that it's all petering out. Where new things should have come along, there is just recycled garbage. Artistically and scientifically, things seem to have stagnated. Number one on Top of the Pops is another cover version. Go through the stations on your radio, trying to find one that's playing something that isn't a cover version or has someone else's music sampled into it. The repetitiveness of modern rock/pop music and its homogeneity across the spectrum of musicians leads me to believe that the music industry has something to do with it, not the musicians themselves. The reason I say this is common sense. When CDs ousted vinyl and musical retail outlets became more streamlined in the name of commercial efficiency and business sense, what was available for mass-listening could more easily be centrally controlled (eg. government and/or music industry). As a result, budding musicians' creativity has been stifled by an upbringing which exposed them to little innovation because of the music that was being played commercially. Commercial playlists are definitely controlled by the government and/or music industry. Music is just one aspect of this stagnation. The cost-effective society we live in today, with its ergonomic yet cheap designs, is to blame for the suffocation of any new ideas. Anyone who manages to trouble the current social structure with amazing new ways of seeing it will either get stigmatised to render them unpalatable or idiotic to the rest of the world, or bumped off so they are no longer a threat (see the Bill Hicks page).

I'm trying so hard to assert my individuality where conformity is the norm. I have to be careful not to upset people with opinions. This strikes me as ludicrous, as ideas which are novelty-based, should not offend people. Yet they do. I am fed up of pussy-footing through a lacklustre society. I need to fully express this novel way of existing or I'll go crazy! This site is a way of publishing ideas without paranoia. If you feel the same way, E-Mail me with some of your hitherto repressed feelings, and I will gladly exhibit them on this page.

Remember :- we need 10,000,000,000 people to get to the next stage.
Stage 1 - 10,000,000,000 atoms to make a cell
Stage 2 - 10,000,000,000 cells to make a skeletally-protected nervous system
Stage 3 - 10,000,000,000 skeletally-protected nervous systems to make the next stage in evolution
Stage 4 - ....
Don't forget - we are only a nervous system. Everything we think we are, is a manifestation of our nervous systems. Our brains are part of our nervous systems. Don't let your nervous system become a seething mass of neurotic misconceptions instilled by your experiences growing up through the quagmire of government-controlled stage-shows. If you feel you are good, and know right from wrong, and think you have been cheated, let your voice show through this site!
E-Mail me. Every valid notion will be added to this Forum. E-Mail addresses and other identification can be suppressed at your request. How you appear to other people is largely irrelevant; what is going through your mind and senses is what counts.

Frances Downey says,

I tend to agree with you about the rubbish that is aired on the radio today. However, you are forgetting the discovery in recent years of the tweeny market. Young innocents, barely out of nappies are who are buying singles today. They don't want anything to deep, they just want something which they can easily sing along to and make up little dances for. Believe me I know my little sister is one of them. Over the years I have had my fill of the Spice Girls, Britney Spears, S Club 7 etc... And in the beginning I reacted in much the same way as you seem to have "How can you rot away your brain listening to this crap!!!" However as I have grown older and a little more tolerant I have taken a much more laid back attitude. So it is rubbish, we know this, but is it meant to be good??? No, it is just meant to be laughed at and is a good excuse to jump around dancing badly. So to conclude, it is the TWEENY market that buy singles, adults like myself (and you to I presume) buy albums and only listen to Radio 1 and X fm. The album chart is where it all happens so stop moaning and enjoy being 12 years old again next time you hear some regurgitated 60's hit. Besides you need mediocrity, otherwise how would you know within yourself that you are not like everyone else. Would you want to follow the crowd even if it was towards decent music???

Stuart says,

I have read every word on your site and can honestly say that you and I think very much alike. I agree with everything that you say, and I think you are right in your description of what is now and how things should really be, I applaud you for your effort to portray your beliefs. Though to try to alter the path in which this global CELL is taking, from an individual or even a critical mass of influence I think is futile, with the (as you well described) governments that control us. There is nothing more I would like than to turn this messed up money centred over political 'commercially mapped' world around and I would back any true revolution that had a blueprint for a better society. I am a believer in fate and I take comfort in the fact that I believe in 'good', I promote 'good' and if there is a judge to my life, (and all others), then we will be judged in a relative way. You and I were born into this generation against our will (lets face it if you had the choice it would have been a 'no thanks that place is a hell hole' kinda thing!) along with everyone else who feels the same. I do not believe in any religion that is interpreted on this planet, though I do believe in a reason for any creation and I believe that whether your 'good' travels only yards then you will be happy in yourself. I think the heaven and hell that we all believe in are within us (good v. bad)........................choose your path!

Marcus Taylor says,

... I am totally in agreement of your views and I only wish that sites like yours and people like Bill Hicks were in more numbers as the whole world needs a good shaking and told to wake up and realise the world in which they are living is becoming unconscious to the fact that Governments are trying to run the world in a way so that every single person becomes a 'number' used to generate money and control for these authority. I have tried explaining my beliefs and ideas to friends and the majority are unconscious to this fact and I believe this just proves the point that Bill Hicks made with regards to American people being controlled by this false consciousness that is used to generate money and power to fulfill certain persons' greeds. ...

Fiachra says,

Looking at the Roman name for my home island it strikes me that ' Hibernia ' is very close to 'Hibernation' , this reveals to me that our own natural and supernatural character is due to a deeply somnolent people. Today I can tell you that we are being waived of this character as being Irish is now a fashionable commodity , ( Theme pubs etc. ). Once a being is aware of what it is it ceases to be that being , thus Ireland is only now falling victim to Westernism , for the first time large numbers of Irish are doting on what it is to be Irish , this is because they feel isolated from there nature. The truth is that our people have been bastardised from our aboriginal truth , largely by alcohol and the Catholic Church . We are now part of the one God ( one money ) network that poses a threat to all wholesome life. I've worked as a barman for a winter in a local Donegal pub , It's a harsh and grey time , before me I see great minds fall to self- doubt and intoxication . Our richness is being pissed away. I am nearing the end of a trip within Thailand and Laos. In many places where opium is the aboriginal drug , the western abyss of cultural neutralisation has now found that if they introduce stimulants that will counter the effects of this natural drug they will thus create a method of control. The market is flooded with variations of Red Bull in medicine bottles . These are pure liquid amphetamines in highly concentrated forms , they are priced at 10 baht, (15p sterling) and are sat beside the Soy milk and water. The populace lap it up as a token of Western aspiration , I frequently turn down these drinks from Thais trying to engage me in conversation , it is becoming another social medium , through which many prefer to relate through , they are hooked and then the price rockets and they too are controlled as we are in our part of the world with alcohol and cigarettes . It will happen soon . Control of the people in Indo-China is a priority as if full realisation of what the U.S. did in Laos occurs then it should easily be the lynch-pin of the ' Free World '. I find the very existence of your site a relief , keep the wheel turning and the clockworks of many minds may soon get oiled and used again by that momentum.

My mind is awash with an infinity of ideas and where in the past I discussed these ideas alone (in dreams or waking thoughts) I feel compelled to join the global discussion. So enters a highly spiritual, often frustrated but loveable anarchist, intent on improving this world before I leave for a future plain of existence. Roll on the mind revolution.

15/6/2003 Alex rewards my efforts with,

Hello. I would just like to say you truly have a great mind. It is rare for me to be saying words of such complementary nature but I feel that you deserve them. Although we would appear to share a great deal of thoughts and opinions I have to give credit to the composure of your explanations, the delivery is something that I could never master and is why people come up short on my theories and explanations. You, however, do not appear to have this problem and this site proves to be insightful and your opinions very satisfying.

29/7/2003 Colton Bond peruses,

Your imagery of the average person is, in fact, quite alarming. Though, I am curious. How is it that you can say what an enlightened individual can do when the very personal and moral acts that individual make are that which make the person enlightened? eg. "those who are enlightened do not use alcohol or drugs". You describe the fact that those who are enlightened live for themselves and that they care nothing for what others think. But in all fairness, what if they choose for themselves they want to live by the rules of current society. What if that is what makes them happy. Then are they not enlightened also? I am quite curious on these issues. I would appreciate a response about these topics if your schedule permits. Thank You.

My reply :-
What I am saying is that it should be, but currently isn't, a free individual choice as to how one can contribute to society and the livelihoods of those people around you. At the moment, monetary wealth drives society instead of a proper skills base. The choices become constricted to just those that could in some way be remunerative in monetary wealth, as if that could be cure to all woes. Any other possible outlets for creativity, like science or art, are ideologically so well-explored, few great achievements seem left. There should be a right to change in a democratic society, not mass acceptance of an inevitable sorrow for good ideas that never flourish.

We feel powerless to invent choices for ourselves, because merit without remunerative benefit is regarded as a waste of time in this society. In the "money cage" (the globally inescapable impact of money on the way of life), ideas and creativity flow to the metal bars encapsulating it, rather than to forming a cool and imaginative centre of an ever-expanding "ideas cage" instead. That would be the next thing in evolution of global mindsets. We have to stop polluting ourselves under coercion from the powers that be, and start cleaning up our acts. Everyone knows how to do that - we all know good from bad, right from wrong, and others, from a mixture of perspectives, and we can see those in charge currently, as not adhering to values that the average person knows only too well - values that the average person applies to him/herself and others. That makes for a lot of stress. MJ 30/7/2003

People are not stupid. But here I refer only to the ability to mechanically connect information intelligence. As Erich Fromm argued, modern man has manipulating intellect, but is without reason, awareness, creativity and imagination. he cannot penetrate the "surface" of things, events, structures, societies. He is an automaton. Chronically anxious, he tries to overcome the feelings of emptiness by being a sadist, masochist, destructive, conformist etc. But aside from that, his higher mind is dead.

What a fantastic reply! You're so right in your observations and it strikes me that this drubbing down of mankind's imaginative and inquisitive spirit has been occurring relentlessly for years, ever since the population reached a certain level and communication of that fact had become global and almost instantaneous (the telegraph and so on). People could then justifiably say that they were unimportant and get away with an air of being "realistic". Basically, they are blaming the presence of everyone around them, for their own conditioned shortcomings. The simple solution is to undo your own conditioning by simply becoming aware of it in an honest light.

He replied :-
I would not say that it strikes me. I mean, it is really not surprising that society which is based on hierarchy, exploitation, competition, psychic violence, discrimination (racism, sexism, ageism) and sexual repression, uses various means to anaesthetise human awareness of suffering inflicted by all these "practices". Among these means are the schooling system (the most important, because it identifies knowledge with coercion and domination, worst of psychic pains), church, TV programs, radio, press, computer and playstation games, alcohol, drugs, Mc**** food, marketing, posters.. It seems like every piece of system has its own role in maintaining of the whole. This is amazing. Certainly, all this is not invention, is not planned by some monsters on the top. It came spontaneously, probably from the human unconscious, as a result of repressed drives, capacities and positive strivings. As Yoda said in the "Star Wars", "Once you step on a dark path, forever it will dominate your destiny". It is obvious that civilisation's "journey" started a long time ago.

Government (an incorporated enterprise like any other) is little more than an organized crime racket. They have guns and can use deadly force. They can break and enter. They can kidnap (arrest) and hold hostage (jail). They can extort funds and seize property.

What separates government organized crime racketeers from a non-state sponsored private enterprise organized crime racketeers are mere semantics. They both work the same turf.

Typical person, wake up! Break out of that Duracell battery pod 'The Matrix' placed you in. You're living in a dream world if you think the government is a benevolent force there only for the greater good.

People like you cannot and should not be trusted. For it is certain you'll act out in accordance with The Matrix's (government) wishes, i.e., betray private confidences and serving as a snitch and witness for the police state, just as you and many others are programmed to.

I initially started your rants page thinking that you're seeing sensibly, but the nattering eventually got to me. I could bare no more of your pseudo-intellectual banter. You're quite welcomed to have your own feelings and ideas, and I think your choice of medium is quite a good one as well. However, to generalise our whole race as basically mindless, drooling sheep, willing to follow anyone who will bark orders at us, is grotesquely inaccurate. We all have our own opinions. Not all of us are willing to accept that we cannot do anything. But surely you would concur that it's very hard in today's society to find a voice that's large enough for the masses to hear. Hell, how many people have hit your website? I agree on a few points: Organised religion is a fallacy. You're right. It should be strictly internal. War is not necessary. At least not in all cases, but when the people are being kept stupid and poor as well as ruthlessly dictated, something must be done. Still, war isn't the obvious choice. Science is far and away the best place to look for knowledge about our surroundings and even ourselves whilst bearing in mind that science is limited to what we are able to comprehend. I'm happy I've "bumped" into your site. It IS good to see that someone other than me isn't fooled by the media and the government as some people are only to happy to believe every printed word they see...

Not waking them up might be the wisest course of action, attempting to do so will only bring you grief. The public is a monstrosity, anything you say or do contrary to the variety of acceptible forms of behavior will trigger conditioned responses from the sheep and those around them. They will gang up on you, you will be shooned, and it's not a pretty sight. In fact it's down right scary. The public is dangerous, and they are no different than programmed machines, certain inputs will set off certain predictable responses. They believe they are individuals, but they are only acting out a type of personality they have unconsciously selected for themselves to parrot. A sheep is an animal that acts on impulse without being consciously aware of any given input that triggers their reactions. "Trigger words"... Trigger words are like land mines, choose your words carefully when explaining the intricacies of reality to a sheep. Such an undertaking is disturbingly similar to navigating through a mine field, and if you hit just one of them god damn trigger words, everything you built up in that animals mind just blew up in your face, and now you'll have a conditioned response to deal with, most likely they'll just parrot something they downloaded from a television show or some movie. The most interesting response however, is the glazed wide eye look... It's fascinating, something like SYNTAX, ERROR, SYNTAX, ERROR, BAD COMMAND, DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!..... You'll know what I'm talking about if you ever see it, and the bizzare thing about it is they all do it exactly the same way.... Deer in the headlights kind of response you could say.

By the way, who's the extra spirit inhabiting John McCain ?? Ever notice the stark difference between his two eyes while publicly speaking ?? It wasn't always that way.

REALLY, more money does not make me happier ?? The most solidly content persons I have had the honor to encounter were visiting Tibetan Buddhists ...

Can I stress that DEMOCRACY is in the minds of those who await & accept the RESULTS of elections ?? Election RESULTS are owned by those who collect and present the information from the machines used to tally votes !! My best guess is that the fractional bankers have demonstrated that populations who believe in elections are statistically more financially motivated (controllable) than populations without elections. Money is no more than a means to control daily activity of humans.

America IS a third world country !! An average person gets under 2 weeks paid vacation. Europeans in industrial unions have 6 summer weeks off, along with generous holidays. Thousands of Europeans did NOT die from DEADLY U.S. FDA approved pharmaceuticals of the last 10 years -- most were not even considered or experimented with there. And, only the U.S. passed laws admonishing or minimizing liability for these THOUSANDS of deaths AFTER THE FACT !! Seven of the G-8 nations have socialized medicine -- NOT the U.S., where the infant mortality rate is RISING !!

AS for the Kennedys -- Joe senior was meted the ultimate punishment of taking his two sons. He wanted to control BOTH worlds -- the "television world" of elections and the under-world. Ed forced John to appoint Bobby as Attorney General (but Dad, he's never been a judge, for God's sake). Joe's lingering first assignment for Bobby -- get Jimmy Hoffa, as though he were evil !! Bobby had assisted his father on the Hoover Commission. Remember that Joe was the man who had mountains of Prohibition BOOTLEGGING cash to buy in at the bottom of the NYSE after Black Friday. Joseph Kennedy's firms were FINALLY stopped (by the Justice Department) from selling scrap metal to the Japanese in late 1943 !!

Jimmy Hoffa did not drink, smoke, woman-ize, or ass-kiss ; so he couldn't be blackmailed or otherwise easily controlled -- and what a load of money and VOTES he had dominion over ...

Four presidents were assassinated in the U.S. -- Lincoln in 1865, Garfield in 1881, McKinley in 1901, and Kennedy in 1963. Ever hear much about Garfield or McKinley ?? HMM -- I wonder what act those two did NOT commit which Kennedy and Lincoln DID commit. Both issued U.S. Treasury Notes into circulation -- versus the European bankers' Federal Reserve Note currency !! Lincoln was pissed off when the Union was offered loans at rates between 24% and 36%, so he circulated $449 million Treasury Notes. Lincoln was dead only three days after the Civil War ended -- surrender of the English bankers' supported Confederacy.

Kennedy was defiant toward the bankers' men in his cabinet, the military, and the intelligence services -- consummating in Executive Order 11110 of July 4, 1963. Soon, $4.3 billion in Treasury notes were issued and circulated. Four months later, he was dead. The Lincoln & Kennedy Memorials are a towering show of dominion by the European fractional bankers and their hired men -- all the world can behold that NOBODY survives fucking with them, not even two of the greatest Presidents of the U.S.A. !! Only the FEW can see it.
